Prior to providing you with IV sedation, our dentist will meet with you to discuss your medical history, your dental needs, and other relevant factors and determine if IV sedation is the right option for you. If you do receive this treatment, make sure you have someone available to drive you home, as you with be groggy and sleep following your procedure. We also recommend that you have someone available to remain with you for a few hours after arriving home.
IV sedation is administered directly into your bloodstream. You will be aware of where you are and what is happening, and will be able to follow instructions provided by our dentist.
